The Egyptian Theatre is a fully working live stage theatre, averaging 150+ events a year from movies and live theatre to stand up comics and touring concerts.

The Egyptian Theatre is owned and operated by the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Preservation of Egyptian Theatre, Inc. (P.E.T.) and volunteers help make all of our events possible. Our volunteers love historic buildings, theatre & live entertainment, or just enjoy giving back to the community.

Volunteer once a month, twice a month, whatever fits into your schedule and help us keep this wonderful theatre alive and open for everyone’s enjoyment! Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and enjoy the diverse amount of entertainment the Egyptian Theatre provides for the community.

Volunteers help take tickets, usher, and most importantly are the friendly faces that help greet over 42,000 visitors every year! The Egyptian Theatre could not operate without our wonderful volunteers.
