Specialist Adds Culinary Kick to the Season, Sharing Delicious Recipes with Local Home Cooks
The perfect recipe for creating new memories with loved ones includes good friends, good conversation and, of course, great food. As home cooks across the country head back to the kitchen to cook up spring’s flavorful dishes, the Taste of Home Cooking School is preparing to share seasonal recipes that are certain to delight.
Taste of Home’s local culinary specialist Eric Villegas will return by popular demand to the Egyptian Theatre on Thursday, April 10 at 7:00 PM to share his home cooking tips and tricks while demonstrating step-by-step recipes for the season’s best dishes. Joining Chef Eric on stage once again will be local Chef Gavin Wilson. This show is sponsored by The Daily-Chronicle, B95 FM, and Paulsen Appliance.
The Taste of Home Cooking School is America’s leading cooking school program, inspiring more than 300,000 passionate home chefs at approximately 300 events nationwide. Attendees experience exciting recipe demonstrations using ingredients that are easily found at the local grocery store and best of all, the dishes are submitted by home cooks from across the country.

Attendees will receive a gift bag including the Taste of Home Cooking School magazine. This magazine includes recipes featured during the program, along with many more, as well as coupons from participating national food companies. Attendees can also enter for a chance to win one of many door prizes, including the recipes created onstage that night.
Come Downtown DeKalb early to have dinner at one of the many great restaurants conveniently located within walking distance of the theatre. The theatre doors open at 5:30pm for you to visit the vendor’s set-up in the lobby. Brand new Taste of Home cookbooks will be available for purchase in the lobby before and after the show.

Regular seats are $12, Premium seats (closer to the stage) are $20, VIP seats which are the best seats up front are $50 and include a free Taste of Home cookbook along with an exclusive meet and greet with Chef Eric before the show AND exclusive early access to the vendors in the lobby.
