The Egyptian Theatre in Downtown DeKalb has announced six more shows for its 2018 Fall Season. With three shows already announced, The High Kings, Marc Cohn and The Simon & Garfunkel Story, the Egyptian is ramping up for its biggest Fall Season yet!
In September, the Egyptian will welcome Presley, Perkins, Lewis and Cash on September 8. Get the feeling that you are witnessing a rock and roll royalty jam session with the music and talent of Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash.

On September 12, the Egyptian will host Steely Dane. Winner of Madison Magazine’s Best Cover Band, Steely Dane is dedicated to not only faithfully reproducing the Steely Dan and Donald Fagen songbook, but to bringing an energetic live-show experience to the crowd.

Continuing the September schedule, The Sweet will take the Egyptian’s stage on September 22 for their 50
th Anniversary Tour. With over 55 million records sold and 34 #1 hits worldwide, The Sweet still performs to sold out audiences around the globe. Performing glam-rock hits such as Fox on the Run & The Ballroom Blitz.

Moving into October, the Egyptian will welcome The Stranger: A Tribute to Billy Joel on October 13. The Stranger is the complete, premier tribute to the music of one of the world’s most beloved performers, Billy Joel. With looks and skills just like Billy, you’ll soon forget you are watching a tribute show.

Then on October 20, Catapult: The Amazing Magic of Shadow Dance will take the stage. As seen on America’s Got Talent as finalists, Catapult is a shadow dance company that is fun for the whole family.

And on November 2, the Egyptian is excited to welcome back Think Floyd USA. Celebrating the music of Pink Floyd, Think Floyd USA returns to the Egyptian focusing on Pink Floyd’s pivotal album Dark Side of the Moon.

So the line-up for these latest show announcements is Presley, Perkins, Lewis and Cash on Saturday, September 8 at 7:30 PM, Steely Dane on Friday, September 12 at 8 PM, The Sweet on Saturday, September 22 at 7:30 PM, The Stranger: A Tribute to Billy Joel on Saturday, October 13 at 7:30 PM, Catapult: The Amazing Magic of Shadow Dance on Saturday, October 20 at 7:30 PM and Think Floyd USA on Friday, November 2 at 8 PM.
