Lives Well Lived is a documentary by Sky Bergman, an accomplished photographer and professor of photography and video at California Polytechnic State University. The film celebrates the incredible wit, wisdom, and life experiences of 40 older adults living full and meaningful lives in their later years. Their stories are about perseverance, the human spirit, and staying positive during the great personal and historic challenges. The purpose of the film is to create a bridge for all generations to connect with each other and reflect on what it means to live a well lived life.
There will be a pre-film fair of nonprofits in the lobby from 3:30-4:30pm featuring:

After the film there will be a panel discussion featuring:

Dr. Bethany Cockburn, NIU Assistant Professor of Management
Dr. Alicia Schatteman, NIU Associate Professor and Director Center for Nonprofit and NGO Studies
