Free Film: Lives Worth Living

To kickoff Disability Awareness Month in DeKalb, the historic Egyptian Theatre will host a screening of Lives Worth Living (2011), a PBS documentary by Eric Neudel that traces the history of the disability rights movement in the US from 1945 to 1990, the year of both the Capitol Crawl and the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Doors will open at 6:30 and the film will show from 7:00 to 8:00 with a guided discussion to follow.
