The Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis Tribute Show
Lightwire Theater: A Very Electric Christmas
DeKalb, IL – The historic Egyptian Theatre in Downtown DeKalb is excited to announce two more shows to its fall season. Coming Saturday, November 7, 2015 The Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis Tribute Show and coming Sunday, December 20, 2015 the Lightwire Theater “A Very Electric Christmas” show.
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were the hottest act in America during the early 50’s. Dean of course, the straight man, with a charming voice and Jerry the lovable goof ball added the comedy. Never have two artists captured the look, the sound, the very essence and chemistry of these two “Icons” more than Tom Stevens and Tony Lewis.
Both of these incredible performers have each had amazing success on their own. Tony spent the last 27 years performing in Australia and created a name for himself as the quintessential “Jerry Lewis Tribute Artist” selling out countless venues and earned respect as one of Australia’s best entertainers. Since his 1st appearance at the annual Dean Martin Festival in 1998, Tom Stevens has earned his title as “Best Dean Martin Tribute Artist.” Even Dean’s daughter, Deana said, “I’ve never seen anyone look and sound more like my Daddy!” You don’t want to miss this evening of unpredictable hysterical music and laughter!
Back by popular demand, Lightwire Theater is known for their signature brand of dazzling visuals, poignant storytelling and music designed to evoke imagery. “A Very Electric Christmas” will be at the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, December 20, 2015 for one performance only at 4:00pm.
Follow the story of a young bird, named Max and his family, as they begin their journey south for the winter. When Max gets blown off course and ends up at the North Pole…his adventure begins! Dancing toy soldiers, caroling worms and performing poinsettias, light up the stage in Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas. Audiences of all ages will treasure this magical and captivating tale of family, friendship and hope set to timeless holiday hits, including Nat King Cole, Mariah Carey and Tchaikovsky. Lightwire Theater is internationally recognized for their electroluminescent artistry, poignant story telling and performs in complete darkness. Brighten your holidays this season with Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas.
