This past week, we had the pleasure of hosting the annual DeKalb School District 428 Art Show here at the Egyptian Theatre. Featuring artwork from talented students in grades K-12, this exhibit continues to be one of the most inspiring events we host each year. From colorful paintings to intricate drawings and imaginative mixed media pieces, the creativity of these young artists filled our lobby with energy and excitement.
We were proud to welcome over 2,000 patrons through our historic doors to view the exhibit. As a nonprofit, providing a space for students to showcase their talents and for the community to come together is central to our mission. Events like this remind us of the power of the arts to connect, inspire, and uplift.
Congratulations to all the students whose artwork was selected—we can’t wait to see what you create next!
