The Egyptian Theatre is committed to providing a safe environment for all patrons, volunteers, staff, and performers. In order to offer the safest and most enjoyable experience possible, the following policies will be in effect until further notice. Policies may change at any time based on the current health guidance from authorities. The most up to date information can be found here on our website and sent to ticket holders via email prior to events.
Mask Requirements
Effective starting February 28, 2022: The State of Illinois mask mandate will be removed. Masks will no longer be required inside the Egyptian Theatre for events.
Masks are still highly recommended for those that are unvaccinated, immunocompromised, or have other factors that put them at high risk. All guests that wish to wear a mask will be welcome to do so.
We will continue to provide hand sanitizer throughout the building and keep up with increased cleaning and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces. Our newly upgraded HVAC systems continue to provide higher air quality in the building through filtration and frequent air exchanges.
As always, these guidelines may change at any time as new guidance is issued or new mandates are put into effect.
