The following events have been postponed or altered:
– Gone With The Wind: Sunday, March 29 at 2 PM (Postponed)
– The Sound of Music: Sunday, April 5 at 2 PM (Postponed)
– Hard Hats Tours from tomorrow until the end of April will now be held via Facebook Live every Tuesday at 5:30 PM
– Box office hours are cancelled through March 30
We will be announcing new dates for these showings, so stay tuned to our social media and website for all announcements!

Under the direction of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, all gatherings in Illinois larger than 250 are highly recommended to suspend until further notice in support of the health and well-being of the theatregoing public, as well as those who work in the theatre industry as a cautionary measure to help combat the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
At this time the only performances postponed or canceled are:
March 13-15 – Beth Fowler Dance Company Swan Lake & Wizard of Oz (Postponed – new date yet to be announced)
March 17 – Rhythm of the Dance (canceled)
The Egyptian Theatre will continue to closely monitor the evolving coronavirus situation on behalf of the local community and make decisions as circumstances require, in accordance with guidelines from the CDC and state and local health officials.
Specific details for current ticket holders will be communicated via email directly in order to provide the most up to date information pertinent to each event.
