Hello all! My name is Myah Mackey, and I am a senior at Northern Illinois University. My major is Human Development & Family Sciences with an emphasis in Family Relations , Prevention, & Wellness, and I minor in Non-Profit Studies. Prior to attending NIU, I worked with a nonprofit organization Boys & Girls Club for three years called Off The Street Club on Chicago’s west side, where I developed a strong appreciation for community engagement and youth development. I have always enjoyed experiencing films and live events in theater spaces, which makes me especially excited to be interning at the Egyptian Theatre this semester! I am looking forward to gaining hands-on experience, learning about theater operations, and contributing to a historic and creative environment. I’m excited for the growth and learning opportunities this internship will provide.
