Backstage at the Egyptian: Marketing Intern Josh Hanold’s Farewell

Hello again everyone. I’m here to write you all a heartfelt goodbye. My internship at the Egyptian has reached its curtain call and I’m ready to start the next chapter. I have one more semester left at Waubonsee Community College before I transfer to a four year university. I plan to attain a degree in marketing with a minor in Spanish and hopefully do a semester abroad in Spain!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at the Egyptian and have learned so much about marketing and reaching out to the strong community that is the city of DeKalb. I loved everything about my time here. I learned great responsibility and the importance of connection and communication.

While I am somewhat sad to go, I look forward to the unknown. I’m not sure what is next for me, but I know that it will be nothing short of exciting and adventurous. I will miss you all as well as running the Backstage at the Egyptian Blog. See you around DeKalb!
